Anyone seen the announcement from oracle about today’s layoffs ? Oh, I get it, as usual oracle is pretending it didn’t happen, so there was no public announcement. The three stooges being 5 year olds again - layoffs, what layoffs? You know anything about any layoffs? Who me? No, do you? Oh, god, absolutely not. Childish!

100 in which operating division?
there were over 100 just in my operations division alone. Fake? I think not. I survived 20 years of layoffs at the big O, but now's time for the next chapter.
Sales Cloud Product Management team was hit hard. Said it was out of the blue and with no explanation. However, that's still a small number of employees. Not sure what other areas were hit.

Duh, they won’t disclose the numbers or even an official announcement as most of those affected were cloud roles which underscores their cloud efforts are FAILING! Nobody wants cloud anyways, right? Quite the contrary but nobody wants Oracle Cloud.
PAAS was doomed from the (late) start. Oracle competitors are eating their lunch.
It takes a while for a ship this large to sink but it’s a phenomenal sight to watch from shore.
