Lawrie wants a payrise, while he selfishly won't give employees a payrise.

@Uk99RSa-3bip yes, unfortunately the interests of shareholders are diametrically opposed to that of employees in a market condition that we have had since the 2008 crash.
They want a bigger return on their money (naturally) and if because of market conditions (ie zero real business growth), the route to that is cost slashing and breaking up the company to squeeze that value.
Even the big shareholders (that actually make up nearly all of the holdings in DXC) have no loyalty to the company, they want their money ASAP and if that means getting all of it now leaving a dry husk behind, so be it.
Arguably normal employees have a bigger stake and risk - its all of your income, its you livelihood and your life. For a lot of people, you can't just trade your options for another thing at the touch of a button -some can, others can't.
I'm sure there is a Marxist term for this contradiction ;-)
Sadly it matters not whether individual shareholders vote against proposed executive pay rises. Institutional shareholders, who see the situation rather differently, will vote the pay rises through.
As an individual shareholder by all means vote against if you wish, but it will make no difference.
Give ML a rise of 1 DXC option and 1 DXC share. At least it is marginally better than what DXC employees are receiving (aka a big fat juice 0.00000000000000000000000000000% pay rise).
The grim reaper --Thank you
Any sane stockholder has already voted against Lawrie (and the board) receiving any pay increase this year; I certainly have. His salary figures as revealed here are obscene - there's no other word for it.

Lawrie - your tenure as CEO of DXC confirms you have no morality nor respect for the people that actually generate wealth within DXC (ex CSC / HPES). The market realizes this.
You may have acquired massive wealth, but you are hated and despised by thousands of people. If that doesn't bother you or play on your conscience, then maybe your fate in the next world will.
