Anybody here knows if we are looking at more layoffs next week? A few coworkers were talking about it today, but I have no idea where they got the information from.
To be honest, it sounds more like speculation that got out of control to me, but it would be nice to know for sure before weekend.

That was not really a layoff . This company will continue to target the bottom 10% of performing employees annually. Most of the employees that were released were dead weight or not performing well. They knew their time was limited. I will say this for the last time and then I will vanish and you can pretend you guys actually know something. The dolans still have a large ownership stake in AltIce. They brought in dexter and Co because they needed an unfamiliar face to gut the company and jack up prices so they wouldn’t look like the bad guys but you can believe that they still control the strings. Notice how the same players still control Human Resources? Union or no union this corporation will evaporate and a new one will take its place. They told you 5years and that is exactly the time their plans will be done and so will you. Start working on PLAN B.

They are always looking to cut look at our sister company Altice NV they are still cutting staff this is the normal and will be the norm. This is why the employees need to protect themselves Aligning yourself and at the mercy of This employer you are highly mistaken. Cuts will always happen with these people I am protected I am not worried at the end of the day. They would have to Negotiate a buy out this is what you need a seat at the table.
