I have been hearing FEBRUARY will be the end.
B&N LOVES to settle out of court, so expect Demos to get half of his golden parachute. That means $2 million. NYTimes article goes into detail about what happened. He would have left with $4 million and benefits after leaving under usual CEO leaving. So, they'll settle. They don't want the publicity. It is their usual M.O. Having worked there, I know they settled 4 cases just from the store I worked at.
Bleeding money. The place needs a transfusion.
I bet B&N made the whole thing up to get rid of him without paying. They've become so sleazy.
I know our sales are down and the AM told me our store would most likely be one of the first to close.
I've been told to keep it quiet but I want to warn the others to look for new jobs.
