Thread regarding Follett layoffs

Better use of money

Hassle free experience includes a speedy checkout. Cant happen if every rush the server bogs down or crashes. Save some of that website money and invest in a better network.

Voicing concerns to management is a sure fire way to having your number come up quickly. I have seen, first hand, where a long tenured employee was dressed down, singled out, suddenly stupid(ed), and abused out of the company when the employee raised a valid issue the employee's manager (store director).

The company has lost the trust if the employees. The post suggesting this person is a *rick is plain hubris.

Personally, I don't understand why there are any quality peopole left at follett. I know some. It's a mystery.

There’s nothing wrong with voicing a concern. However voicing in the incorrect platform is wrong. This person typically goes about things wrong anyway so I guess that shouldn’t be a shock. He likes to stir up trouble and should be dealt with accordingly. He is unprofessional and doesn’t deserve the position he holds. Let the countdown begin so our region can function with less chaos which always seems to start from him.

Why is it such a bad thing that someone points out a problem that impacts our customer?

Maybe if the arrogant leaders listened to these issues and fixed them we would stop losing masses of customers.

All I have to say is the guy who posted this exact same comment on the Follett FB page has posted it here and it’s getting attention. Probably not the attention he’s looking for but it shows people are reading both. Good luck over there in Indianola you pr*ck!

Its a known issue, put it in trello, we will get to that in phase 2.

Follett applications are built like six-lane-wide cars then tested and tuned on the 20 lane wide highway in the tower. The giant app is always needed because we are so unique. Once testing gets to a real store the six lane app can’t upload over the 4 lane highway. Rinse, receive ridiculous demands from store ops SVP bully dejour, repeat. Must be the network.

Happens every rush, plus we get boxes upon boxes of clothing during rush. Why have they not figured out that shipping time?
