From what I'm hearing at the office (and I see several people mentioned it here as well, so I'm inclined to believe it,) we'll be seeing more layoffs on Thursday.
Looks like the end of this is still nowhere in sight, unfortunately.

They have only just begun with the RIF's. There are mega RIF's to come. AIG is going to be real lean
Still awaiting the possibilities of RIFs this week. But, still not able to collaborate any action soon!!!
We have not heard anything regarding actual numbers other than it was posted earlier that it was thought that a 5 per cent cutback was coming meaning AIG has what 50k employees this would be 2500 possibly being let go I’m not sure about any of this but then I don’t have any inside tracks or sources as some might have the benefit of for me I would rather be layed off sooner than later the continuous upheaval of ‘potential’ layoffs his wears you down not to mention what a detrimental affect it is constantly having on what little morale is left in this place appreciate the time and place to vent and to gain others perspective on things thanks 🙏
It may be that everywhere and everyone is in play here as AIG attempts to ‘right size’ itself I’m not hearing much out in flyover country of KS some rumors are circulating without a doubt just nothing concrete but some chatter does exist nonetheless that rumors of layoffs are in the air & could be coming this would be contradictory to what the local management is telling folks ‘none that they know about’ It was said when Vidovich was here recently that they wanted to do some consolidation of things which of course started the old rumor mill spinning away provide any updates whenever possible appreciate any heads up that can be shared TY
Heard 900 in the US. Not sure if it is to the end of Sept or end of the year. Anyone else hear this?
Could the layoffs affect multiple locations around the US or globally any hints clues whether it’s upper crust being targeted or would this apply to any AIG entity state side & overseas thanks
