Glassdoor reviews

Is it just me or do the latest set of reviews on glassdoor look a bit out of place?

The ironic thing is that rather than trying to improve morale by treating staff well, Lawrie's clueless, unqualified, ex-typist girlfriend, who now runs global HR would rather falsify reviews! Doh!

Absolutely the funniest reviews I’ve ever read anywhere, ever! So much nonsense. Neve talked to an employee in the last five years at least, who has expressed the levels of satisfaction in these reviews, in fact on the contrary, moral is at rock bottom, and has been for an age, with no sign of improvement!

If you look at the data dispersal of the 20 reviews you will see a fair dispersal from September 2017 to date. Then, all of a sudden: a spate of uncharacteristic reviews in the space of just 2 days. Such clustering in the sample is uncharacteristic and such diametrically opposed content is usually an indication of an assignable cause of statistical variation. Whatever that might be - whether a sudden investment in a site or a bribe to the group of recruits.

"To help you in develop a positive Glassdoor feedback, here are some ideas you may wish to include:

  1. Culture. Describe positive attributed of DXC's Working environment, benefits and opportunities;

  2. Personal career development. Consider how DXC provides for the development of your role, skill and knowledge;

  3. Teamwork. Consider ways in which the company support and encourages team working

Cons. Try to avoid cons, but one or two in your team are acceptable to make the reviews look natural. However, try to keep them tempered to more general IT level, such as 'the work can be challenging'.

Note: You must Quote your current role. Do not include items that feel you cannot support. If your submission is accepted by our corporate marketing team, you will receive a non-cash reward as recognition of your contribution and your comments will be posted anonymously to glassdoor."

On Glassdoor, click the Flag as inappropriate link, and set to "Written by management or HR". If enough of us do this, we can get this obvious fiction taken down.

Even with these false reviews, still only 12% approve of the CEO

What utter bollox!

Sadly the real problem is a vast majority of the UK management are based in Newcastle, they only talk to staff in Newcastle, who because they get all the goodies, all the training, all the events, all the money spent on them are less miserable than the rest of the UK, so the UK leadership think all is fine. It's a vicious circle, that makes Newcastle the golden child and the rest of us scum, to be got rid of at the earliest opportunity

For quite a while now DXC has been asking a variety of staff in the Marketing and Communications Division to post favourable reviews on Glassdoor. (I suspect we are not the only company to do this sort of thing).

Now that’s funny! Looks like some Geordie manager has been told to get on a mission and write some b---s--- positive reviews. Not much from Erskine, Hook, Tewkesbury, Sheffield, or Telford though is there. Wonder why? :)

There's no way someone with the years of service that they claim would be posting that sycophantic BS.

Then again the people at the DTC do seem to believe their own hype despite a complete lack of results - maybe someone should check that office to see if there's a carbon monoxide leak
