I hope I’m one of them! That gets laid off that is! Only reason I’m sticking around is to see what kind of severance 20 yrs will get me! I’ve given up on caring! Objectives mean nothing to me, not worth the work!! We’ve lost all control over what happens on our territories anyways. More blind NOS orders, cuts, etc. Moral is worse than I have ever ever seen! What used to be a good place to work has become a workplace of horrors! They would do well to pull the plug already! Until they do, I’ll give them the bare minimum, not a bit more! They deserve this attitude, the manifested it!
I'll take the layoff! This company is terrible to work for anymore!

Exactly! All those that say,”my boss said we’re not leaving dsd”, wake up! Easy to say cause when we leave dsd all they have to say is we were committed to dsd but retailers pulled out! One team one dream! Hahahaha! All an elaborate smoke screen to try to retain help. They know the wheels will fall off, reason why Keebler offered a $4k loyalty bonus for those that stayed till the end. It’s coming people, look around! And listen!! Too many red flags all around you! My thoughts are that it's a smoke screen. They won't show their hand till they have to! All signs point to a DSD exit! As to when I'm not sure.

Over last several years our direction has been consolidating, layoffs, moving away from DSD as we know it.. no major change in this direction?

Boots on the ground is where we make the impact, but they will keep all management a cut field people. It will be a monumental mistake, but most of what they is awful!! This company has gone from bad to worse in the 20 years I’ve been around! Weds. It even make an impact anymore, they are more concerned with micro management!
Just because Kroger isn't CAO in your area doesn't mean that they won't be going CAO. CAO is being tested throughout the country in Kroger markets. We're the only vendors that hasn't been shut off from testing. I was told by a Kroger manager that we will be going warehouse soon. As for Meijer we wouldn't need to test CAO in there. Servu success 3rd party will take over in Meijer locations. Educate yourself. Be prepared is all I can say.

Quite honestly Dirk needs to slash half the people in director, senior director, vice president, senior vice president and executive vice president roles. I've been around the better part of 30 years and it gets worse rather than better.

Sept 7th will come and go with no major news. We are not going anywhere. Kroger is not going CAO or Meijer we’re Im at.
It will be interesting what Dirk will come out and say. Sounds like DSD is ending or definitely layoffs are imminent
I also wouldn't assume any major announcements will be made. It's likely just a meeting to introduce the new strategy whatever that might be.

Pen and paper or phone or whatever can't stop me from getting a display taken down there display for one of mine at store level I do it all the time, your phone guy gets a display up while I'll get 10.
Most of my stores have given up on kebler 3 gave there rack to store brand, Peprage farm, tates, and archway

I have my thouhts in when but I’ll keep those to myself. Not an actual date but timeframe. Regardless, it’s crazy to hear statements that it will never happen! Not only can it happen, it will! Not a chance we’re too big. We are the next vendor to go warehouse at Kroger if that tells you anything. All other vendors testing dsd came off the pilot, we stayed in and expanded the number of stores! Duh
So you think we're done in 2019?
You are out of your flipping mind!!! DSD is ending! I agree it may take 4 years for the process, but people we are three years into the process already!! Branch consolidation, etc. people are just in total denial!
It will last forever in the U.S.! We're too big over here! Store's can't handle our volume! We make too much money to ever leave DSD
