So he is holding a townhall to discuss the global strategy and that strategy is " nothing will change" ? I dont think so..

It’s just a town hall meeting on the 5th. Nothing will happen this year just wait and see. Keep guessing which year people. If they do redo routes it won’t be til after first of year not before holiday season.

I have zero doubt these changes are coming! Seeing lots of changes in stores as well.

Rethink that friendship! Our DM emailed us that they were in meetings last week for MOD reviews. Said he had our best interest in mind, haha! He said changes would go into effect October 1! Straight from the horses mouth! Guess what, that is quarter close! Hummmm! Draw your conclusion people, I’ve drawn mine. Been through too many of these before!

Do not believe any managers. They cannot tell you anything . That is if they even know anything. In my part of the US Wal Mart was supposed to go CAO in June. We got a call in April (two days notice)

I talked to our RMS today and he has not heard of any MOD reviews or route changes coming this year. He is a good friend and would say if he heard this.

Nobody said it was a meeting about layoffs. I'm certainly not at a high level ..

I'm sure if there is a meeting about layoffs its only the higher ups. Why would we be apart of that.

Maybe it's only for people at the country head offices but there IS a meeting on Sept 5 with Dirk to review the plan.

I’m located in Michigan and have not seen or heard anything about a call on the 5th. Sounds like fake news to me.

I checked with some counterparts at EH and they all have a meeting booked for th 5 th as well

Sounds like we're cutting the sales force yet again! MOD reviews will make territories bigger, eliminating territories. My guess is another 1/3 of the sales force will be gone.

I will be shocked if there are no layoffs. We are not hiring any full time help in our area. The people that have been interviewed were told that there are probably going to be changes in the territories . Maybe DSD is staying for now . But there will be layoffs.

They won’t keep people with much time in, way too expensive. Keebler kept people with least amount of time in. Less vacation and lower salary.

Sept 5 call would make sense. These type of call usually are on Wednesday and Dirk definitely has an announcement to the investors on the 7th. If we have layoffs (which I’m fairly certain is happening, not a DSD exit) then we would find out couple days before official announcement to everyone else.

However, if we do get a 60 day notice they have always coincided with quarter close which this date will not unless we are getting more than 60 days..unlikely

I'm in Canada. Definitely says a global call though. I guess we will see.
