I was a leader in a CSA that laid off 18 adjusters. I was familiar with ALL, and while it was unfortunate a couple were in a place where there were better adjusters, and we didn’t need them all, they weren’t our best.
Do you really believe the company, it’s lawyers and HR designed a process that laid off our best ? Why ?I know you want to believe we laid off our best because you didn’t make the cut, but it’s an id--tic statement. It actually allowed us to thin the herd of subpar performers.

All the people that were let got in my CSA were the best tech's one of which won the DPA award. I am sure you are real popular guy at highway rest stops at 2 am but thinking those peers don't count. Because my experience with the company was one of mutual trust, mutual loyalty, and promises that were made and kept, I clearly have nothing in common with this poster, and don’t have any desire to understand his/her perspective, that has been made clear in many posts.

I don’t say “all is rosy”, but while I was still working I had the balls to either speak up to management about my concerns (and, yes, most of the times they listened), or leave, either to another job inside the company, or out. I did both.

Who said they are apologists? They present the other side the discussion to open a transparent dialogue in which at some point they will infer you are wrong. Understand someone will always be there to do your job for less and its just business. So relocate if necessary and do what it takes to prove your self worth. Always remember, stockholders expect a return on there investment.
