Falling Earning Estimates

DXC, which has witnessed a significant price decline in the past four weeks, and it has seen negative earnings estimate revisions for the current quarter and the current year. A Zacks Rank #4 (Sell) further confirms weakness in DXC.

A key reason for this move has been the negative trend in earnings estimate revisions. For the full year, we have seen 10 estimates moving down in the past 30 days, compared with no upward revisions. This trend has caused the consensus estimate to trend lower, going from $9.04 a share a month ago to its current level of $8.18.

The stock also has seen some pretty dismal trading lately, as the share price has dropped 18.1% in the past month.

In 2016 my performance rating was Exceeds Expectations yet my manager gave me and every other person in the team a flat 0.8% pay rise, irrespective of their ratings. In mid 2017 I was WFR'd and joined a competitor as a contractor and gained a 45% pay increase. Thank-you Mikey for my WFR, I love you so much.

Don’t think anyone is getting alarmed, more a case of pissed off! Years of no rises or bonuses, working for a product that makes considerable profit year in year out. And these tossed are eating the fruit as we pick it for them!

I am def. not a Lawrie fan or any of the ladies of the round table. But, the main reason the stocked dropped is because they spun of part of the company. The article completely misses that point. Yes they sold 1.7m shares, but did you notice they bought it at a discounted rate first then sold it? That is common practice for execs to get the opportunity to buy stocks at a predetermined price with the option to sell at the going price. It happens with all companies....Wouldn't you , if you had the chance to buy at $25 and sell at $100.....Off my soapbox...

Got a 10% raise in March after 12 years of nothing and think its because legally I was paid too little for job description. Tuesday I met with supv. for appraisal process and rec'd meets expectations, then Thursday laid off. 66 years old. Do I have a case and can you recommend a lawyer in Hartford, CT area

Can only assume that’s why it wasn’t a huge amount, compared to his other holdings! Probably find that’s the maximum figure without breaching thresholds of ITrading! We all know what actually went on and that’s what leaves the bitter taste! But hey make sure you do your ethical trading training kids! 😂

2000 soon to be happy ex-DXC employees no longer working for Darth Vader. Hopefully Nokia selected a better IT outsourcer.

Insider trading for ML and his cronies to dump stock before the share price fall occurred. They must have known about key accounts being at risk and being dumped by intelligent clients.

From all the comments of past and pi$$ed off ex employees, anyone with any sense can see that DXC is an absolute shambles of a company to have worked for. I can honestly see Lawrie getting into trouble in the not too distant future with a truly deserved indictment looming. Surely some to his practises must be illegal. So f&cking glad I am out of that Managerless craphole of an organisation. I give it 1 to 2 years and good-bye.....Shame, as it was a good place to work 7 years or so ago when it was CSC.

1.7M worth of shares is not much when he owns thousands of shares

Thank goodness Lawrie, Mason and Saleh cashed in $1.7m worth of shares between them when it was $100 a share. They could of lost out on some serious money there! I wonder how they knew to dump them just in time? They must have top drawer brokers!
