Been hearing a lot of rumors on incoming layoffs at the office in the past several weeks, but there is always very little concrete info, though.
Does anybody here know more about what's about to go down (and if it's about to go down at all)? Just the usual stuff, when, where exactly, how many...at least some info.
Decades ago, it was 4 wks of pay pet year of service ( when you'd have to mutder a coworker to be let go) then it went to 2 weeks. Once the company began laying off in drioves, it went t to one year.. Today it was announced that it's capped at 8 weeks!!! Lump sum. Hello taxes! And insurance stops! Because that summer home in the Hamptons and fuel for that private jet are expensive! If karma exists, I hope the planes crash and they choke on their fancy foods! 😡 everything you have exists on the backs of employees who have given decades of blood. sweat and tears. Suffocate on your own vomit ( this coming from a Christian woman who had had ENOUGH)
