Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Done with layoffs?

Now that there is so few of us left, what are the chances there will be no more layoffs in the foreseeable future?

We are down to bare bones as it is, I honestly can't see Honeywell wanting to remove more employees and expect us to pick up their work once again. It will simply not be doable.

My neighbor is AeroVP Phx. They should let him out of his misery because he’s headed for a nervous breakdown. Always looks ANGRY.

The layoffs and benefit reductions will NEVER stop. NEVER. STOP. The goal of the company is to extract value while running it into the ground. The executives will take their millions in plundered riches then do it again at a different company. The serfs pay for it all.

People get older each year. All are candidates to be shown the door, so a youngster can be hired at a lower salary. As Geico would say "it's what they do".

No more layoffs at Honeyhell...must be either drunk or insane...there is always layoffs at Honeyhell, always. And furloughs, paycuts, benefit cuts. A former employee (box 1 by the way for those that know what that means) and left due to not being able to handle it anymore. Crazy, brutal culture, insanity at its finest. I did love getting my bonus though even when all my employees were taking furloughs...always felt right to me...sign...sense the sarcasm?!?!?!?!? This Company's morals and ethics need a good hard look. Trump should get involved with all the jobs moving offshore.

They don't need too many more layoffs since people are quitting and not being replaced which just makes more people quit since the remaining victims have to pick up the workload. Vicous circle.

Much of the work now done by those being spun-off will likely go to the rest. And, they won't likely replace a person who's spun with another one. So there goes more headcount.

Unless sales, aka revenue, increase dramatically, high cost region layoffs will continue. There is no way to keep improving profit margin as promised without cutting costs. Things are worse now since there is a huge increase in free cash flow promised as well. People at the top figure that since nothing bad as happened yet, that there is still room to cut more. Toyota inventory principal applied to head count. Keep cutting until quality problems are revealed.
