Anybody here worried that this whole reshuffling thing could spill over into lower levels?
I don't mind seeing shakeups in management, but I'm also worried that we are next on the list.
Restructurings rarely go without more significant layoffs, after all.

To poster @Thjo0se-2pws: Spoken like a true corporate shill. What does sitting on a cabinet in a skirt have to do with it? What you don't know about the elements of age discrimination is quite a bit. And as a comedian recently said about the food at Subway, "If this is what is happening up front, what in god's name is happening in the back?" Illegal discrimination is illegal discrimination.
The white face comment has been taken out of context. The CIO said some comedic quip at a town hall. I think she was actually sitting on a built in cabinet top in skirt at the time. TIFWIW. AIG is a big naval gazer when it comes to its own diversity policy. That being said, older employees are often more at risk when it comes to layoffs. They just cost more. Deliver value and make sure your stakeholders can see it and can measure it. If you lose your job at AIG, your sure to have a better one somewhere else.
Is that white face comment real. If so they need to right that f---er that said that. We all know this is legit wage / age descrimination but you shouldn't be giving town halls if your stupid enough to word it that way.
