Level3 people after the “merger” are getting hit as well, we have the old level3 severance package. 14 years with the centurylink package 30 weeks. Level3 8 years and above 20 weeks. We aren’t getting what ever severance package is being spoken of on this thread that the ones before the merger are said to have gotten. Was told last Friday, didn’t get any info until yesterday.

In Fort Myers Florida 6 non bargaining employees were walk out the door. All craft employees have been offered packages . No union employees have been laid off yet. They have quit spending money on new equipment in the field. We basically have no work and none on the horizon.

If you're legacy CTL you're screwed. Ask yourself why legacy level 3 employees have twice the severance as CTL. Because they cut it right before the merger knowing layoffs would focus on CTL people. This wasn't an acquisition it was a takeover.

I heard there will be no notice layoffs today in CO. If you haven't been laid off yet, you should probably try to find a better job /company to work for. It's only a matter of time people.

It's happening. Lots told today that tomorrow is their last day. Odd, because last Friday a big group was given 2 weeks notice. Today they get 24 hours.
