Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

I'm outta here :)

Well, I've finally made the move to get out of this demoralising and depressing culture which seeps from every pore of DXC. I probably clung on for a bit too long but it suited me at the time. The whole culture of this company is toxic and that toxicity comes from the top. The cynicism of the leadership is beyond belief along with their delusional aspirations. We are subjected, daily, to supposedly inspirational emails which bang on about digital transformation, agile approaches, kanban boards, automation, Bionix (lol), IEnhance, iSolve, idon'tgiveaf@@k... anything to make them sound like they have their finger on the pulse. They really f@cking don't. It's all smoke and mirrors. The people spouting this drivel don't even understand what any of it means, they just regurgitate the bile spewed from the supreme leader and usually in an incomprehensible, grammatically incorrect and meaningless soundbite email. The old out-of-touch c@@t at the top is only interested in lining his own pockets.

I could never have believed that things could get worse from the HP to HPE merger... but the poisonous CSC philosophy and leadership has blown my mind. I have never worked for such an abhorrent company. There is nothing to like about this company. I hope that everyone who can get out will get out ASAP. Let this abominable cesspit drown in it's own excrement.

Anyway, I'm out. I got a pretty reasonable voluntary redundancy package and my life and my outlook has instantly improved. My outlook is bright. I feel positive. I know that my skills can and will be appreciated elsewhere. I no longer need to deal with the pathetic morons who actually have some misplaced belief in the deranged SMART and CLEAR values goals which are oh so vehemently proclaimed. The downward spiral of DXC lays firmly with the main man at the top. Not that he gives a f@ck. However, his pathetic little minions pander to him like lost puppies and are so scared of losing their jobs that they scurry to affirm his delusional selfish beliefs.

My future is bright. I feel sorry for those who are stuck in the DXC rut. I encourage anyone who has talent and skills and any iota of self belief and self worth to rid themselves of this loathsome employment millstone. There is a much better life out there. Let this company fester in it's own sh@t and be done with it.

I know that the employment laws, or lack of, are terrible in the US and that really s---s. It really is not fair. In the past I'm sure large multi-national companies in the US and world wide would have rewarded those taking voluntary redundancy with some sort of good will gesture (i.e. a reasonable pay out), as a thanks for the time and effort you have put into helping the company do business. Sadly though, this is DXC. They don't give a sh@t about their employees and "good will" is not something they can even comprehend.

My client is ready to disengage DXC due to their gross incompetence and inability to provide superior customer service. A big domino is about to fall soon!

"pretty reasonable voluntary redundancy package" must be nice because in the US we get only a maximum of 8 weeks pay, no accrued vacation no nothing.

I am glad you feel better and your so right on with "idon'tgiveaf@@k.." emails , I have a rule where those go right to trash.
