Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

News Article - DXC Shareholders Lining Up Against Mike Lawrie's Greed.

DXC are sacking hard working folks who have battled to keep this rotting hulk afloat purely on cost, whilst the CEO and his typist girlfried have their noses in the trough. Folks are getting wise as to who really adds value! https://www.theregister.co.uk/2018/07/03/dxc_exec_compensation/

It’s not just Lawrie. The whole lot of them are rotten through and through. Whitman, Hurd et al, rotten!

I don’t know if the suicide article is true, but it wouldn’t surprise me! It’s the one bitter taste that sticks, is that fact of all the thousands of people that have been laid off by Lawrie, there are bound to be some who never recover, they lose their job, unable to pay bills, maybe default on their mortgage, lose their marriage as the stress of no income mounts on a couple! They lose their family life which counts so much to some people, and ultimately drives that person to the edge! If I was in a position of that power, I couldn’t live with myself if just one person had done that! I suppose that’s the difference, I have a conscience! A feeling of humanity! Lawrie and his HR bint just count their money! Well Mikey, I hope one of these people catches up with you one day and stamps on you like you did them! karma sometimes takes a while, but it gets you in the end!

I am sick with coming to work each day and see more of my fellow workers outsourced or worse yet being let go.

"If DXC was a country rather than a corruption, Mike and the L2s would have been lined up against a wall by now."

I see what you did there :)

A morally bankrupt leadership team which isn’t being held to account by anyone, let alone its shareholders. I feel so sorry for employees still trying to make a life at this shambles of an organisation.

What annoys me is that they have spent company time and money lobbying for their own pay raises with the investors ahead of the vote on executive pay.

I mean like seriously?

We've spent money so they can have more pig swill?

Looking at the officially published figures and ignoring the obscene monetary values and just comparing percentages.

Pay rise: Exec Average 5%, Staff 0%

Cash bonus: Exec 178%-400% salary, Staff 0%

Share bonus: Exec 250% - 850% salary, Staff 0%

Can't see why attracting and retaining staff is a risk and remind me what are our execs doing about it?
