Ok so just update your resume and find a new job. It’s that simple. Stop sitting around waiting to be let go or stressing out if and when it will happen. All the signs are there and The ship is sinking.

MH has been clear - he wants Oracle to move to a lower cost of sales model (hubs) - he clearly believes that cloud "sells itself." WIthout business leadership at any discernable level the focus will likely be on cutting costs (HC) rather than revolutionizing the sales model (customer first?) or making it easy to do business with ORCL (better contracts, less friction, easier to scale, etc.). The internal pressure has to be increasing as things like DoD JEDI point out that that SC/MH/TK/LE have systematically underinvested in key markets and are now forced to try and denegrate competitors who have made the required investment to support their customers. Lack of strategy (move to cloud is a vision), inability to execute at RG level + increasing niche competition with good products and GREAT cultures will increase the stress on ORCL stock. FIx the culture - return to growth - stock goes up. Simple, but complex.

Is this the CSM layoff page? So it looks like CSM world is in flux sounds about right it has been that way for two years when the HUB concept started. The new leadership is struggling to align with Sales. Sales leaders are saying one thing the get on board with the new offerings , but behind the scenes they are instructing us against the alignment. It’s going to be an interesting year of tug a war between the two orgs.
Spoke to a CSM today who said they have no idea what the new model or whatever is. That org is an absolute mess. CB and her side kicks are running the department into the ground!

In the CSM org it’s all management by spreadsheet right now. Who do you know, what alliances you have made, what favors you can call in and how well you have kissed up. Close doors meetings to decide the fate of our futures. if your manager is not in favor with someone chances are his team will not land someone great either.

My manager finally told me has no idea what will happen to the CSMs. He said the manager meeting today was 75% focused on who has completed their accreditation’s and CB saying multiple times we need this number to be better next week. Do they not realize we don’t want to complete a level and then find out we are no longer on that product let alone out of a job. Training for what exactly are we doing? They cannot tell us what our new normal will be. CB knows we want to know that because she said new normal on the call apparently. We are living in a sh%%show run by people who have no idea what they need to do.
As a CSM in Burlington I can say we are very scared for our jobs as a whole. Our new “leader” if you want to even call him that is even worst than the last guy who ran around starting rumors.
RB rarely communicates anything to us so we have no idea what we should be doing on a day to day basis. I’m noticing a ton of CSMs trying to get out before they shrink our department and our jobs are cut entirely. RB could not be less transparent right now. He talks a big game but can’t execute whatsoever.
It won’t happen in Sales. The new free program CSM model requires us now to do more with the customer. If we want to land and expand we have to maintain a relationship and deliver QBRs. Even before the free CSM, the CSMs couldn’t even build relationships. Rumor is CSMs will be let go over the course of 12 months and the role they perform will be part of support platinum offering but a focus on everything being delivered through chat and interactive websites.
It will take place. Several leaks are making the rounds. According to those managers in the know Sales and Customer Success will sink first in the ship. Too much headcount.
