Walked out with 34,400, pension, and 401k. Signed the paperwork. Birds up Centurystink. You treated us like s!ht, blew our customers away, stressed us out, pissed us off, harassed us, busted the union, and made company devoted techs walk out. For what corporate greed. I'm glad to be gone, and believe me I will be hired at company that a that APPRECIATES MY TALNET AND DEDICATION. Ps. Any tech reading this. You BETTER TAKE THAT PACKAGE!

There are plenty of good contractors out there. Its not a matter of Union or Contractor. There are tons of techs that were direct hired and have lots of talent and knowledge.
Everyone is expendable.
The good union techs here would have the contractor do all the work, then go back in and tell the boss they did it all themselves and the contractor was a lazy POS.
Yup I walked out on Friday with 36,000, pension, and 401k. We were told on Tuesday our last day was Friday and no approved PTO. What a shame the way we were done. Long time employee here that the company asked to leave yet wait to last minute and take the last dime from an employee. Get out in next package
You union guys crack me up. One excellent union tech, you say. The only difference between a union tech and non union tech is, the union tech wastes money paying the union for nothing, except protecting them when they screw up or want to be lazy and not work. Give me a break. Belonged to the union. Did nothing but protect the lazy screwups.
Good luck on your next job. It’s plain to see that Ctl management(aka musical chair guys) neither know or understands, and maybe neither cares ,about it’s outside techs, who happen to be the face and hand of the franchise to the customers. It’s a damned shame they are throw so much talent, dedication, and knowledge, that took a lifetime to acquire, out in the street. Nothing, nothing can replace those losses. One excellent union tech can take the place of 3 or more contractors, who just can’t match the experience, knowledge, and knowhow of a good union tech to get the job done right the first time so repeats and outages, and angry customers, are avoided. If the company is stupid enough to throw all that talent out in the street, this company deserves to suffer the customer losses that come along with failed installs, and repairs due to laying off all the good techs that would have prevented those failures from happening.
adios muchachos .. we dont need no stinkin badges ,,,,
