New CFO

So, anybody thinks he'll do better than his predecessor? Or will it be a lot of same ol' same ol'?

Honeywell Inc. HON, -0.12% said Tuesday it has named Greg Lewis as its next chief financial officer effective Aug. 3, replacing Tom Szlosek, who is retiring for personal reasons.

Loosey goosey accounting on the way! Good thing we don't include integrity in our behaviors anymore!

Why did the writer include "for personal reasons" after the word "retiring" about Tom Szlosek? That's not needed. Read into that. Hmmmm

Honeywell is not a company where the CFO has much clout. The CEO rules over everything and CFO follows orders.

If you look at the new CFO's history within Honeywell, I think it's reasonable to assume that the cost cutting will not only continue but likely increase.
