Another great Q for the CVE management team. -6% and market is not even open. Oil goes up, CVE goes down. Congratulations.

The crazy part is the hedges go into next quarter so that’s going to s--- as well. It doesn’t get better until Q3. They said this at the investor meeting.
Ewe two!
Man you guys are awful spelers.
Hehe
If you oir ConocoPhillips, the Deep Basin sale os the gift that keeps on giving. All involved in that acquisition, on the CVE side, will bare the shame making on of the worst deals ever made in the oil patch...
That quarter was hard wired by the management months ago just like the next three.
See you next year.
If these comments are a reflection of the posters’ IQs - god help Cenovus. Maybe spend less time whining and more time working.
A billion dollar loss is a big deal, especially when your peers have had a strong quarter. There is no hiding it, there is somethng horribly wrong with how this company is managed....
13 $ / share at 70$ WTI, you want an award? also learn how to write a proper sentence. "Sure is dumb, very, stupid a**" ! What school educated you? wait, never mind now I remember.
D, u, m, b, a--, what happened after market opened? That's right, recognition of good strategy.
But waaaah :,( I cannot leave, they pay me well and provide great benefits to b--ch on this board. I'll never change cause I'm a loser and will complain no matter where I work.

Good ceo, good strategy. Leave if you don't like it.
Plan the parade route!
How does that foot of your taste?
Unfortunately Alex came in with a predictable cut costs strategy, anyone can do that. Show us a real growth strategy, inject some enthusiasm into the organization.
He also mentioned today there won’t be any large scale layoffs.
Oh, but Alex promised us that there would be no more layoffs after the last round...
Q1 was as to be expected when you have such an inept SVP running planning and a blind leadership team following. Nice try Alex but you wont wordsmith your way out of these results. Hang on CVE - road is about to really get rough
I don't know why anyone believes in CVE management anymore.
Disappointing, cut more costs
After those Q1 results, CVE is "done like dinner". Alex just pushed the "flush" handle.
Troubled waters ahead. Sharpen up that resume.
