My source is a manager who asked me if I still interested in volunteering for a WFR. They were being asked to work a series of three WFR dates. One now for May, with notice of two more coming in June.
Again, to all those surprised by any announcement of a WFR, what drugs are you taking because they are real good helping you avoid the most obvious of reality here at DXC. And yeah, I want some for those times I want to keep my head in the sand.
The reductions are part of a strategic plan that were announced in two separate investor's day presentations. And Mikey and Paulie keep referring to those targets in quarterly earnings calls.
I told the manager that the late June (22... 29... ???) one was a consideration and if the manager could let me know when I need to make the decision by. That's what I know and can share...

RIF is an acronym for Reduction In Fertility. They use it to neuter the workforce so that it is impossible for the business to reproduce.
The revenue numbers are in steep decline. FY18 showed a sharp fall as clients continue to leave DXC. Lawrie and Saleh do the only thing they know how to - cut resources. Even though their endless cuts are what is driving the client exodus, due to delivery failings and poor service and mutiple missed SLAs. Meanwhile Lawrie's inexperienced, unqualified, ex-typist, girlfriend continues to makes a mess of HR. Staff are no longer incentivised and the workforce have no respect for senior leadership with Kermit and Miss Piggy in charge!

Thanks Captain Obvious! Love that. That's what I hate about this site , do freaken details. Saying RIF's are coming is the same as saying the Sun will come up in the morning. OF COURSE more RIF's are coming, if you know any useful information then share it or shut the Duck up.
