ConocoPhillips (NYSE:COP) says it is cutting ~450 jobs across its U.K. operations by 2020, following its decision to halt oil production in the southern North Sea.
COP currently has a total of 1,300 onshore and offshore staff and contractors in the U.K.
Layoff a whole lot from Canada too.. To many people doing nothing here.. what a waste
Even with this q1 results, this sinkhole company is still laying off people!

Dang, that’s bad deal. Just when things have started to get to normal, we decide to stir the pot again and demoralize, great! I feel like punching my skull to make me some mental nutcase so I won’t feel anything about it.

Several other companies are starting to hire and initiating new investments (includingNorth Sea) but this sinkhole company is layoff people. Only disfunctional companies with useless managers can’t make money in the crurrent price.

One third of UK staff are gonna get cut and you switch it to Houston
So Houston is next? May be this could explain the size of the new building ( when compared to the old campus)
..so it's leaked to the press before being released to employees.. the process hasn't even started yet and it's already been mishandled
