Again, conflicting reports as of when. I checked my email, nothing there, but that doesn’t mean I’m not in the RIF, depending what day it is. Did anyone get the email after 5 today? If not, then it’s not tomorrow.

How the heck is this mean and unkind? Did you want to show up to work one day and have a notice saying you were done like many Sam's Club employees? Did you want to be told Monday there would be layoffs and then be given your 60 day notice on Wednesday with no time to process and prepare? Or do you want ample notice that it's coming so you can get your resume and finances in order and extra paid time while you job seek? Seems many of you would not be happy anyway it comes. If you are a PHC you know your role is being eliminated. There is no guessing, no wondering if it will be you. You should be applying everywhere right now. Fellow nurses and HCM-SSs, as I see it, we have a 50-50 shot of being laid off. We should also be applying for jobs as insurance. Unless you have enough savings and can afford to stay on the roller coaster until the end. Be thankful for the extra time that to plan for your future while still getting paid. It's a gift, not abuse. Bitterness will just cause more stress. Counting down until someone tells me everyone has the right to be bitter. Sure you have the right but honestly, is it helpful? Will it land you a new job or help you keep this one? Nope!
@Rv3Ed7h-cam what in the world are you talking about? This thread is about this RIF not any future RIFs. What suddenly makes you think your coach is lying? Before anyone pounces on me, I know coaches have been wrong before. Just trying to follow the poster's train of thought from us trying to figure out if it's this week or next to suddenly not sleeping because the coach lied about this being the last planned RIF. Drama drama drama
My coach even said next week and said coaches are not allowed to take days off next week.

My biggest question is, why are we doing this yet again? We had a special meeting with out coach following townhall and were assured this was the last of the RIF now. The handwriting is on the wall. She was wrong. Oh well. I got 2 nights good sleep with the reassurance. Back to the stress factory with me. 2 plus 2 no longer equals 4.
This whole thing is unkind and mean. People are suffering! Suffering! I have never in my long professional life worked for an organization that treated it’s employees with such disregard and unkindness.
