Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Remember not having to fear layoffs every single day?

How bad is the situation at Sam's Club and Walmart if we have to face layoffs every single day?!

Seriously, this is kind of mind boggling to me. For weeks now we have both had to stress out about possible layoffs and stress out even more about ongoing layoffs.

How is this good for the company? I'm sure productivity and customer satisfaction are suffering with employees always being under so much stress.

One would think they'd want to have this done ASAP to avoid any residual issues. I guess one would be wrong.

This company is on a downward spiral and will continue to see layoffs and changes years after year. We are lead by a bunch of egotistical idiots that are out of touch with the field.

Congratulations sams club you think you have upgraded but in reality you put yourself behind a year. The dumpster fire at Sam’s has begun.

Some club managers need replaced and if they do take an asst mgr position is still a very good salary if stepping down from a CM spot. I have worked for several different CM and some were horrible and had no people skills at all.

This is brick end mortar retail in the 21st century. To think it would continue to grow would be naive. No company is exempt from changing landscape of retail.

I agree, I wasn’t able to effn’ sleep last night. So many of my friends and mentors have been displaced this week. It’s a huge slap in the face to tell a GM that they are displaced but can reapply for another position, which will be at a lower pay. It’s pretty obvious that they want to bring in new people to replace them and start them off at a lower salary. What a joke.
