On the call today it was announced there would be 2 Fresh AMs, General Merchandise, Grocery/Consumables/Compliance; Member Experience; and Overnight (2 ON for Tier 4 clubs). No mention of Merch/Ops Manager. Is that position being eliminated? Also no mention of the APM position? Fresh AMs received a sizeable pay increase last year as well as a more lucrative bonus structure. Wonder if this will apply to the additional Fresh AM added thru this restructure?

Anyone hearing of club managers getting let go based on performance and not receiving severance pay? They’ve given severance pay to hourly and assistant a managers (dispite good or bad performance) in the past few “restructures”, why would they not do the same for Club Managers?

No name. I don't know what your APM does but I'm on the floor more than any manager in my club. Fresh manager, MSAM and Membership sit their asses in the office all day. I mod 30+ hours a week.
I agree with those Manager changes. Need more managers on the floor instead of positions like membership and APM.
What is considered a tier 4 club.

Our call didn't even go into specifics on the positions...just that we would jeep the same headcount in the club's. I figure marketing will go away and come to grocery. We have a few managers with 2 coaching and some with only 1 that are really good managers. no clubs anywhere. ear us were displaced. the last time our fresh manager position was posted we got a whopping 1 person sign up for it. lol. don't know how they would fill open positions.
