All regional Americas sales management were RIF'd today on the security side (at least that's all I know for now). East, West, Canada and LA. Assumption is that the rest of the sales folks will get the Ax tomorrow. Sad that you bust your butt and get laid off.

I know the HBT Fire business was hit today with RIF's
Does anyone know if this was done in advance of the HSF split where the commercial security and fire people will stay with Honeywell and the homes people will be part of the spin-off? I'm sure legal and HR have researched it, but if they are going to give these positions to HSF people I would think people that were RIF'd would have some recourse against the company.
They basically dissolved the regions within HBS Americas. Most region level resources (sales and ops) were RIF'd with some positions at the Americas level also RIF'd.
When you say security side were these HSF employees? Are they out sourcing sales to sh--hole countries? Anyone else hav input from other areas and SBGs? Any RIFs this week?
