The head count for the new Homes business is supposed to be something like 20K+. It was rumored that MF was shocked when he heard that number a few months back.

I worked for the Fire & Security biz so I am familiar with the initials being used, but what is up with using initials? You can use their names, they are leaders in significant Honeywell businesses with titles such as "President", "CEO", "General Manager".

That's what im hearing as well. With the exception of some really, really good people who had no choice because that is all they did was homes stuff it appears to be a dumping ground for incompetence and idiots. The main guy has never run anything like this and is used to very antiquated and ineffective business models. The guy they have slated to actually run the products is a main reason the connected products are in the 5hitter in the first place. anohter one of the "leaders" ruined marketing for security, was promoted and ruined a business (possibly twice). was responsible for letting 70% or the busines have ONE CUSTOMER and not correcting it and now sits around not contributing. THis complete moron (IR) should not only have been fired a long time ago, he should have been deported back to his sh--h0le country. I could go one....
The leadership team that will be running the new homes business has not been successful running a division of a large corporation that could cover up their lack of performance. Once this is a stand alone business, their weaknesses will be become obvious. Honeywell spent a lot of time and money to determine which businesses were not delivering the necessary ROI and kicked them to the curb as spin off's for tax purposes. It's obvious that they are not sending their best and brightest to run the new companies.

What's more shocking is MF would be running this and some of the names going are the same a---clowns who screwed up Lyric round, Jasper and other products that went over like a lead balloon. In Redd being another. Sco H....really?
Seems they have some really good folks slated to go out of necessity but it also seems like many will be arriving to the new org in small busses...lol
I hope Hon isnt using homes as a dumping ground to get rid of the incompetent idiots they dont want to rif.
