I just find it so irritating that this company newly hired us nurses less than six months ago and even had a training class after us now you are possibly going to let go of all of us???? Terrible company I could never recommend or take your insurance again ! Like seriously the only people that stand a chance are the old crew but us newbies have a screwed resume

Yes, they often let people go who have been there and keep hiring and hiring.... an endless supply of minions. On the other hand , your resume is not screwed, the industry "knows" about humana.
Well if that is the case, at least we will all be in the RIF meeting together. It was very odd how our classes ended without any acknowledgement of the achievement or goodbyes.
I know exactly what you mean. We just finished our apprentice to advanced beginner classes and now we are on the chopping block. Such a toxic environment and joke of a company.
I am also a newbie. I DO NOT feel confident with my future at HAH. The writing is on the wall.
There were HAH and Field staff laid off that had been with Humana for over 10 years where newly hired were maintained. Humana does not use seniority but by dissolving positions. I've been there almost 8 and pending a potential lay off as they cut our referrals unless I travel 2 hours or more. I was also one offered early retirement and declined it.
Who says last hired is first let go. Last crew was still in probationary period
It really is a raw deal, leaving a job for this nonsense.
