I just read the email from our illustrious CEO - amazed by the number of L2s/L3s already leaving this s***hole (all puns intended) organization. My head is spinning by all the changes announced.

Bonuses for workers are on hold until morale improves. However if you are a management stooge then your bonus is in the mail.
Just think of all the salary expense he cut from the payroll with all these heavy hitters being shown the door. Hey ... there's our bonus pool money. LOL Yeah right!
I couldn’t agree more. I am exES and we’re just learning wth.
This kind of approval process is crazy.
Just today I heard of a case when a 50k credit note has been waiting for its 5th level approval for 6 weeks! Mental!!!!
@RhVTAWN-1tzk yes, as I said in my previous post, those L2's and L3's he's replacing didn't obey him.
Mikey knows best, those ES empires are being liquidated.
It happened exactly the same with CSC when he rolled into town.
If there's one thing Mikey is good at, its having one way of doing things - his way. He's got a god complex, nobody else knows how to do things, only him.
If he could tell you how to do a techy job on the ground he would. You'd be doing it wrong.
I don't know how he has the bandwidth to do all of this without trusting delegation... the answer is, he doesn't. Which is why most things fail to get a decision made, crippling the business.
The email is very long but what jumped at me was this:
“The changes I am announcing focus on roles L2 and L3 levels. Specifically, the regions and industries now will directly report to the CEO, which will improve agility and speed of decission making.”
This only sounds like concentrating power into Mikey’s hands. And the only way I can think this would speed decission making is that he will decide without discussing with anyone.
It’s all wrong.
As @RhVTAWN-uhs says.... Mikey only puts up with yes men who have no spine.
If you don't agree or want to do something different, you are gone.
L2/L3 is a shark tank but only one shark.
He expects this attitude to be adopted by the L2/L3 too, so his will is executed all the way down the chain.
Seriously, ES folk need to understand exactly how despotic Mikey is. I know you used to whine about Meg, but she's a pu--ycat who never had complete and utter control down to ground level.
Which L2 / L3s are gone? Still haven't seen the email.
HPE was no paradise, but yea, dxc is an eye opener to how bad greed can be.
Now that the ones derailing our growth are out the door, we should be rolling in money soon?
@RhVTAWN-lja My understanding is that the legacy HPE had a vested interest in staying through Jan 1 - so that they could get extra stock options. After that, it was free reign...

Lawrie refers to the changes as 'fine tuning'...Losing 8 L2/L3s is not fine tuning, it's pretty much wholesale change.
Lawrie is supposed to be a CEO with extensive experience in this industry. How can he get it so wrong that it's necessary to replace EIGHT of your top people?!
At CSC these sort of events were commonplace. There was a regular revolving door of L2s. Anyone who disagreed with Lawrie, wanted to do things their own way or questioned why his unqualified ex-PA girlfriend was global head of HR got the boot. Sometimes after only a few months in post.
These announcements mean nothing till it trickery down to the people who actually do the work. What I want to know is what new processes and hoops do we the works need to jump threw to get things done.
The statement "Our clients know continuous change is essential for success", then why do we need to go to CAB meetings, just keep making change after change because thats our CEO's dream
