Thread regarding Molina Healthcare Inc. layoffs

Nepotism at Molina

Part of the problem was the Molina’s hiring and promoting friends and family who weren’t qualified for their jobs and most were incompetent which got us into this mess.

The nepotism and Molina friends and family program is over. New management has a monumental task ahead of them to salvage the company and are bringing in new professionals who actually know how to run a business.

Hopefully more of the old guard get shown the door as they’re also part of the problem and mess we are in. so get on board or get out. Complaining on here won’t keep you employed or the other thousands of employees who are still here and want us to succeed.

I worked in the call center from August 2014 to November 2016, then lucked out by being promoted that month. I then worked until July 2017 but quit that department because management lied and made it an outbound call center.

Most people got promoted out of the call center in 9-12 months but I didn't have enough clout and was stuck there for 27 months before being promoted.

My supervisor had been an agent for 8 months before becoming a supervisor! And her background was not even in call center work or healthcare.

That company is a JOKE! I have so much experience in Healthcare and being employed there is all about s---ing up in order to move up! It’s sad but that’s the truth! So glad i found something better! And to the ones remaining be careful who you have in your work circle! People are not your friends!

I was hired on my merit, and was still shown the door. Those that still have jobs because of who they knew/know, are still there and will remain there. They too have snowed over the consultants and the new management to save their asses. I am happier, have a great job again and do not have the stress and BS to deal with from those people. Good luck to those still there.

I was part of the Ohio cuts in September. My manager brown nosed her way from an entry level employee to manager. She would write emails and use I/me incorrectly and even are/our. I had no respect for her! So glad I'm out of there!
