Maybe it's my imagination but it seems the QFC claims are slowing down and the number of Pune call outs are increasing. I have read a comment on this site Allstate has a plan to keep those working in the states as VA only and move all the initial QFC claims to India. Anyone else notice this trend or am I over-thinking it?

He or she is right, it’s probably not practical to settle them off shore, but my guess is we’ll need far fewer TL, adjusters due to advances in technology and AI.
If you’re referring to those who settle total losses, THINK. Time zones and language barriers. Back room processing, all day long.
Any conjecture as to what will become of the Total Loss component? Will that stay as is, get consolidated for sent overseas?
From what we're being told the Pune "adjusters" are for overnight coverage only. I have to admit I'm skeptical about that. The slowdown we're currently experiencing is reminiscent of when qfc was transitioning and field work started to dry up. We know what happened after that.
For language, as well as technical expertise, the VA stuff has to be done by experienced adjusters, domestically. If you don’t have enough capacity here, the QA would be the first to go off shore. My guess.
