Nothing has happened in Bangalore ,Chennai ,Noida ....... Its just some redundant roles that were let go or maybe talent that could not be moved to another project when original projects ended since DXC does not want much bench strength and Human Resource is Capital INTENSIVE

IBM , AT&T Consulting , TCS ,Wipro ,Accenture and the rest thrive on Indian workforce . Its plain simple ,guys in India work 24X7 in different shifts and there is a 60 % cost savings / FTE role .

Just google why Top 5 consulting companies of the world have more than 70 % of their workforce in India . That explains why the likes of TCS and Infosys are giving US based (heavy US workforce ) IT consulting companies a run for their money

Bottom line is DXC WILL NEVER CUT DOWN ITS WORKFORCE IN INDIA . When you look at the Macros in the Consulting world you realise that INDIA plays a significant role due to the above factors

You can not use the cost factor in favour of Mexico ,Costa Rica or Malaysia since the local talent in India is far superior to these countries .

Hopefully they are all WRF'ed it will serve the country right for taking our jobs. America 1st!

Happening in Bangalore and Chennai Office. The candidate is being asked not to speak about it to anybody. So not much hype about it this time.

In Ec1Space block and water block are now empty . Grtp building is vacant currently

Surya Tech Park and Prateek Tech Park are empty.

Everyday 100 - 150 is a huge number. Definitely a mass reduction in in progress in that case, if that is really true.

That is a very sad and shocking news. The industry should jump back on wheels.

It sounds like WFR is going on all over the world. A lot of strength to all my colleagues in India as well as in all other countries!

People are being told strictly not to discuss or disclose the WFR .. so you never know how many persons are missing.. except if from the same team.

The targets are likely to be L3 /L4 tech staff as they are only left. remaining all managers.

Several ( 7 persons) from Mondelez Apps team were given WFR on 23 Mar

some others from platform support and backup support (Bangalore) were asked to leave. they were instructed not to discus with anybody ... so no more info

(America) Where I work, you are met at the door by your manager and supervisor (or two managers) where you are taken to a room and told you are being laid off. All the paperwork is completed and you hand in your badge. You are then escorted out the door. Your personal property will be boxed up and mailed to you (which could take anywhere from two days to four weeks!). There is absolutely no warning.

Managers are scared to hand out the list as hardly anyone would be left to do any work

They have decided to hand out the letters on Friday 23-Mar-2018.

50% of the list will be retained for April.

The list is huge, the managers are scared.

3 -4 persons around me in Chennai .. gone.

It is happening very silently, nobody is being made aware.

Monitoring teams, Backup teams and Eyes-on-glass teams next to be targeted.

Several PEMS, especially women with non technical background who kept buttering the mangers for long time likely to be targeted next, since they have no work, just pretending to do a co-ordination role.
