So my mgr has been behind closed doors for the last 2 weeks,, which is what she cowardly does when a layoff approaches. Will there be a layoff tomorrow 3/1???

You're talking about the ERC right? ;)
Are they completely closing the Maitland office? Or just the call center?
When a manager hides behind their door it's so you don't realize their spine is missing. All they care about is their pay, NPS score,Employee engagement surveys etc. That is all that impacts them and their self protected mindsets. If you get let go....too bad. If you lose your home, car, marriage, children (child support payments fall behind...you lose), food, rent etc...they blame you for not saving the $.01-.05 raises! Every abuser and or oppressor has this M.O. blame the victim and take all rewards, money and safety of existence for your self. Geez where do I sign up🤣
I’m so sorry Maitland peeps. I know some of you have been there a long time. Keep yourself busy and don’t feel sorry for yourself. Easier said than done. Hugs...
Good luck to all of our friends in Maitland!! We really appreciated your dedication and service. 👋🏻
Maitland office closing end of March. 12 bats positions now available in Charlotte office effective 2.28.18 - also 12 SMB care positions available as well. Maitland employees good luck, better days ahead for you!
Can you smell what the Rock is Cooking?
Is the impact to Maitland confirmed?
It has been quite weird in my department. It is very quiet amongst management, and one has not come out of her office to actually greet us in three days. She is not like that. She is so opened and friendly. There was training on another department on Tuesday and Wednesday. They are beginning some of our functions on Thursday. It just seems real odd.
I say you take her out to a nice seafood dinner and then never call her back!
Where is smoke, there is fire
I see alot of the same patterns as before prior layoffs. Bosses meeting late at last minute, closed office doors, etc. But who knows at this point...

Heard they just let go the customer care team in Maitland FL today Wednesday 2/28
I don't think so because layoffs are usually mid month and on a Thursday before a Payday Friday. Is disheartening that there have been layoffs every single month since summer 2016. Some are smaller Numbers but no less impactful on thos families. God bless our bros, and work sister's that got let go. God bless those of us still there hanging on a wing and a prayer. I hope they get it right...for All of our sakes.
