Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

My plan / My Plan

Since I will now be making less money next year than the previous years due to insurance increases, coverage drops, MIP cuts, poor to nonexistent salary adjustments. Etc. Etc. I will henceforth take all of my sick time, all vacation days, make maximum usage of my remaining benefits. Since I am overage manager with poor job possibilities I will milk Honeywell for all its worth until the day they wise up and RIF me. I will be a true Honeywell professional. Join the pledge. That is how you get even.

I think they are doing it to all managers. I was a 5, which given all the push down on ratings I knew was coming

But i also got screwed on my raise. Average in my area for a 5 was a pay raise of 1.75 to 2.75% and MIP of 90% to 110%. I know that because I have direct reports than are MIP bonus eligible.

I didn't even get the minimum of either. It's clear they want me to quit or retire. They have already hired low cost managers and I am sure my role is next or soon. But I am not ready to go. So I will earn my pay, but no extras any more. I will leave those extra evenings and weekends hours and hours to my replacement or my peers or my boss can do them
