Performance Review Email

Some of my peers got an email reminding them or their self review. The email title says "Select' employees. I have a bonus in my contract and am the same level as her. My guess is that I am being cut. Is their any other reason I wouldn't have gotten this such as they are not giving me a bonus etc or does it just mean I don't need a performance review because I am being cut. Can someone let me know what is going on?

The last comment is absolutely spot on. Someone somewhere must find a way to stop the so called leadership

Then the charge rate goes down; the price stays still; service value drops; service delivery and SLA attainment drop; as does critical communication from offshore delivery to the client (we can't talk to the client direct, that's not our job, someone else does that, but he left last month).

Accountability becomes skewed.

The client is charged almost a premium for just having a legacy system these days for which there are few skills in-house to support, as the few that were in-house were fired because they want legacy contracts to 'run off', just like the expensive legacy people supporting them.

But don't worry we will retrain you. What? Seriously? Cross-training? LOL! nah, we're not going to pour good money after bad. We'll get rid of you and hire a grad in a low-cost country; give them a day's induction and then make them work 12 hours a day; few benefits; no career; no pay rise; no reward and a motivational speech about how you could get fired if you don't follow the 1001 policies we write daily. What could possibly go wrong with productivity, moral and service with that as a Business model?

Mr Customer, if you spend $$$$$$ you can have new, shiny, vapourware and a pick n mix of cloud platform, service, software and infrastructure. A bit like you could buy from Amazon or Azure yourself. But going-direct, then you will miss out on receiving a shiny leaflet, like this one, with the words "Digital" on the front and a nice black and white picture of a sector like yours underneath, cut in half by this large, fat, fibre-optic cable with bright, white, welding-sparks coming off the sides!

Wait! What do you mean you're putting your work out as tender. But we're always been your preferred supplier. Please don't. Our revenues could not withstand another year of high cost and our cash-rich asset lawrie has promised his girlfriend more shoes. Besides, you've always loved our high costs and low service in the past. What's changed your mind? The competition?

@RVOpmxg-2xwe you think that just because you fill out a time sheet with a code for customer XYZ that your hours get multiplied by your charge rate and billed to the customer?

Its actually highly unlikely in most cases, even when a customer has a T&M engagement.

Besides, even if that were the case, lowering your salary makes more money right? Offshore, sh1tshore, gradshore. An offshore grad working in the worst place in India would be best.

Employees being made redundant who are billable to the customer making a good profit for DXC. Mikey are you incompetent in running DXC. Are your days as CEO nearing the end...

No. Like many others, you are just suffering heightened anxiety because of the toxicity of the environment that surrounds you. Either purchase a strong (type 2) Hazmat suit that has been specially coated in anti-bull email repellent, or seek a role in a much more pleasant environment outside of the Lawrie war zone.

Mike Lawrie, they say you're remembered for what you do for others in life. I think that's good advice to bear in mind. They say it's better to give than receive, I hope you're not missing out on this, and regret it in your later life. All the best.

DXC is the remaining part of what used to be CSC. Don't believe anything EVER. Lawrie is a joke of a CEO. Get out before they toss you out.

DXC cannot rate the employees as it has failed itself as a company. No employee would like to work for DXC.

Better pack your bags and move out.. dont waste your time and career waiting for WFR just because it got a little severance etc in it.

Heard nothing from leader about reviews. He is too busy scrambling because people keep leaving.

When there (CSC), I went through 4 bosses and no review, over the course of a year and a half so....
