Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

This just infuriates me. All rosy, #2 in xyz topic... and meanwhile...

http://humananews.com/2018/01/humana-ranks-no-2-in-its-industry-on-fortune-list-of-worlds-best-and-most-admired-companies/

Fortunes list--- all I can do is smh. obviously, they didn't ask us. At no point did I admire, respect or trust H as my employer. I was at a place in life where I was the only one working at times and it was either kiss up or pack up. Shameful to have to live that way...or to even say this. From reading the various posts, I don't think I have been the only one in that kind of predicament.

Very glad this is anonymous....

Take care of yourselves, regardless of what H says or does.... our skills, value or worth was NEVER dependent on them.

I am agreeable was layed of from HAH after 5 years of employment and the management is terrible and working environment unpleasant. I have talked to other people who work for Humana in other departments and they are very happy

I've heard that employees in other departments are treated really well and love working for humana. I think HAH has just been mismanaged till the end

Remember our experience is such a tiny portion of Humana. The rest of the company doesn't feel the same way
