Thread regarding Molina Healthcare Inc. layoffs

The Signs are Clear..

A healthy company doesn't go from a profit of 52 million to a loss of over 500 million from one year to the next unless it is going under in a big way.. Everyone get out now before the market i's flooded with many more hundreds of former Molina employees that are to be laid off...

I wonder how many of the people on this thread still have jobs at Molina? Meanwhile, every shred of what the company was, is being removed...including renaming the conference rooms (to non-Molina related names) and taking down the photos of Dr. C. David. What's the point in hanging onto a job there, at this point? I don't get it.

I didn’t know we had so many business experts at Molina. How could we possibly have floundered so badly with all these pundits and know it alls.

So you’re an expert on Joe White’s expertise and have inside knowledge we are going to sell? I think not. Opinions are great but please don’t express them as fact.

Lisa Rubino, Angelo Giambrone, Kathy Mancini, Janet Fosdick and Mary Syiek were all also let go this past week. It's not that people who aren't at Molina any longer, were never at Molina or are still there but are upset....are posting because they are angry. They come here to see the next step on the process AND to read what the contributors to the organization think. Everyone's thoughts are welcome in an open blog like this. If you don't like someone else's opinion about what seems VERY obvious to so many others.....include the industry pundits and stock exchange publications....then start your own, closed group or blog post.

Molina members are going to be sold. This makes sense based on what is going on in the industry and at Molina. Joe White is far from an expert on acquisitions. They hired someone who is. If you want to stay at Molina, that's fine. No one is asking you to defend your choice. But if you are defensive about it, you must be afraid. You should be. So many of your peers have lost their jobs. So many executives at Molina have also lost their jobs. It's reasonable to be afraid.

Thats what I dot get, if ppl are mad at Molina and go on about it being a "terrible" company, then why are they still on the Molina layoff page. Im all in on this...good or bad. I too love my team, my sup, and the people I try and help. Honestly if they were selling wouldnt it make more sense to just leave Joe White in place at his regular salary rather than bring in some multi million dollar President and CEO, just to close the place? I would believe more we were selling if they left Joe in place amd not replaced CEO.

A shout out to the nurse above for speaking his or her mind. I agree 100% My job isn’t perfect but I still really enjoy the company and my supervisor. To the original poster, if you are not happy leave but stop trying to pull the rest of us down.

I keep hearing "Get out", speaking for myself, i'm a nurse i have plenty of other places i could go. I'm not concerned about getting off, If i do ill find something else, even if the market is flooded with Molina resumes. I feel for the people that are not in my position, but i totally understand going down with the ship, If you want to get out, go. Otherwise leave us alone :)
