This is a lame way to sell that Honeywell is going to give us a 401K matching increase...

Really, strings attached: if we are employeed until Dec 15th and payout employeed EOM

January for payout. With their option to let us go at any time.

What are they using the money for???

Dave Cote started all this crap and it just continues with Darius. This NEW 401k “gotcha” is just another way to line their pockets. I hear LAWSUIT if an employee leaves prior to the magical date and it was NOT their decision and they withhold the match. I know for a FACT there are attorneys out there that will take it on.

Yes. This is simply a ploy to increase working capital and reserve the ability to f--- over as many employees as they can at the same time under the guise of rewarding loyal employees. Please, that pitch isn't half as dumb as the guy who thought of it.

Software company = a lot less people. And likely a spinoff or 2 of non software.

And if you read the FAQ which a lot of people did not. Honeywell can RIF you right up to the last day and you lose the match. Clearly they are planning for big RIFs this year in November and December

lol already saw it coming! Remember David Cota needs more $ for his luxury beach hou$e down in Florida so cost savings have to start happening. Some heads will need to be rolled over as well.
