Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

Is Our 2017 Annual Performance Bonus in Jeopardy?

The timing of these layoffs seem conveniently placed a month before next month's annual bonus / raise cycle. If someone gets laid off this week, will he/she not be offered the bonus money they deserve for 2017 PDR performance cycle? Also what will happen to the 401k company match for those that have been with the company under 3 years?....will they just take that money that they put in + gains....since you have to be with PepsiCo for over 3 years to keep the match money?

No question should be off limit, do not criticize anyone for asking questions and trying to obtain information. Many people live in situations that their bonus (which they have earned) is important. turn that ire on the company for the poor handling but don't blame the people asking questions.

Anything that lists "B1" is old anyway. Things were transitioned to Leadership Groups last year. Bonuses were shifted to significantly benefit top performers vs. 3/3s a few years ago.

Sorry, but if you leave the company you must be employed on the date the bonuses ARE PAID OUT to get your bonus. Been there, done that with Pepsi.

Bonuses begin at level 10. Depend on performance and how the company is doing.

L10 ~ 10%

L11 ~ 15%

B1 ~ 20%

Above B1 more, if you all would like I'll post salary ranges for all levels. Respond to this post with VOTE YES and if I get a few yes votes, I will post.

I have not been through a bonus cycle at PepsiCo, what levels/bands are bonus eligible? Is it only banded resources or are certain levels also eligible? I agree with comments made, all of us should be given bonuses for all of the work we put in tied to individual contributions and category performance.

If you quit the bonus is a percentage of what days you worked up to that point. I sure it will be the same here. So with bonuses usually paid the first week of March I expect those that get the axe this week will get at least 90 %. Guess we will see. You all hang in there !!! Lots if jobs out there for talented people.

I will never understand the bonus structure at Pepsico. Everyone works very hard but from I can tell only certain job grades are bonus eligible. That is extremely unfair and perhaps one of the many reasons that this company is in its current state.

Bonus scheme clearly states that you will be paid as long as you were still employed on 31st Dec 2017, as to how much that is, who knows!

Bonuses are probably fine, if you were employed Jan 1 you’ll get it.

Yeah, and I could be one of those being laid off that you are referring to.....and that bonus $$ would be a big help to my family as i am looking for another job. Seems like a valid question. I am asking in the event that i am one of those being laid off....I never asked "if i DO NOT get axed do I still get my bonus?"

Can’t beleive you are worried about your bonus, when 8k people will be let go. I understand that many bonus eligible people work very hard for their bonuses, bu tin a case like this, I believe we should be focusing on the loss of possible good and devoted employees.
