We get super bowl parties, St Patricks, 4th of July and everyother kind of day celebrated. Food provided by the company often reflecting the day. Tchotchkes, emails, team reminders, All hands calls.

Wanting, looking for or caring about a black history month acknowledgement while,working for a failing company laying off scores of folks every month? If that's your priority?? How ironic it would be if they gave you your cursory acknowledgement. Then lay your nutt azz off on 2/15. As a black man fighting to hold on to my job, support my family( like the jews, whites, hispanics, Asian, Indian) and anyone I left out by mistake. Who gives a sht?? I only care abt earning a living, striving and succeeding in my position, and helping my co. Become a,stable, viable competitor in our marketplace. Some abt are best done on your own time. Worry about gettikng let go on 2/15. What fckn good does it do you to get the acknowledgement?? Then laid off a day, week, month later??? What next?? You b tch they didnt't have enough festivities?? Gheeezzzz.... Windstream has never celebrated Black History month, why would they start now? Here's the deal...everyone Black, White, Jewish, Hispanic, Asian..is targeted..what s---s is that folks who are ate up with the dumb a--, folks who sleep at their desk, folks who have demonstrated low performance, who will back stab their own momma to get ahead, who are earning more than they deserve...STAY..and the one l know is black. This is a Windstream issue and how bad the organization is only..let's keep focused on the real issue...to put it mildly Windstream s---s!! The organization was and is poorly managed and dishonest in their business dealings....they cannot afford to get rid of TT (who also s---s)....oh and l am Black...the end.

Why no mention of black history Month at Windstream??. As a black man and I find the post offensive, stupid, and highly suspect. No blacks at Windstream that I know or interact with gives a rats azz about it at work. We, like every one else care about the steady degradation of morale, values, leadership and viability of a company we all care about. The now monthly layoffs hovering over our collective minds, spirits every day. Black or white, this vile race baiting post has no place in any decent society
