can we get unemployment after severance? I'm pregnant i am gonna have a hard time finding a job..

It depends on the state you are in... in Kentucky you can get unemployment and severance at the same time.
You can get unemployment but not until you have received all of your weeks of severance and not before. After your weeks of severance but you will still be required to look for work each week.
Make sure that you sign up for unemployment the next day after your last official day with Humana. You should receive all of this in a packet of information. I signed up for unemployment in Ohio on 1/3 because you have a one week waiting period... Good Luck!
Yes you can in some states. This actually happened to me previously and I got severance and then applied for and received unemployment.
