Conduent Issues for Cobra Payments

Another way to screw HW retirees. I paid for my January Cobra payment at the end of December 2017. Just got an invoice fro Jan, Feb, and March. I called and the January payment did not get moved from the old to new system. I gave them the confirmation number from my email and my bank payment transaction and their answer was “we don’t know what happened and it will take 10 to 14 days to resolve”. They basically said screw you.

I had issues with Cobra through Honeywell since Jan of 2018. Payments sent, cancellations, money returned, phone calls, reinstate, send money..repeat! Finally called the Department of Labor DOL and they resolved with Honeywell within a week after hassles for over 8 months...former employees are entitled to 18 months of Cobra...call the DOL if you have had enough!

I did not get a letter in December. I spoke with the Department of Labor yesterday and filed a complaint. By law, Honeywell has to recognize the payment as long as I have my records of payment.

Yes, -1qhm is correct. I still have the Dec 9, 2017 letter from Honeywell explaining the transition to the new vendor for COBRA coverage, Conduent HR Services LLC.

It does state that payment debit info from the old vendor would not be would NOT be transferred from the old vendor to Conduent for 2018 COBRA coverage.

I hate to say it but Honeywell did not screw up, you did. I hope your problem gets worked out and you get you money back.

Doesn’t sound like a honeywell issue. I don’t think the administer the cobra accounts within honeywell.

They have enough going wrong but not this.

Cobra was 1400/mo. for wife & I so went outside.

I believe it's your mistake.

Your comment "January payment did not get moved from the old to new system" shows what you did wrong. The letter I received in early Dec. specifically stated not to make 2018 payments on the old website.

I received a second letter in late Dec. with a payment coupon and used that with a check for my Jan. payment. It cleared by Jan 5 and the new website showed my credit for Jan. I then further followed the instructions to set up auto-pay for 2018 on the new website in Jan for future payments and my Feb. payment went through with no problems.
