It is poor management to be assigning new members right now to folks who may be getting laid off. It is bad for the members and bad business. This organization is run by idiots. Fooling yourself if you think they give a crap about members or employees. Makes Humana look incompetent and what business wants to look that way to their customers? Humana apparently.

I hate they way they are conducting business too but did you stop to think more mbrs could mean job security? All the live healthy mbrs are NOT healthy and are quickly being assessed and moved to HCMs from PHCs. Would be great if they thought it though and were going to HCMs not impacted, I’m sure that’s not happening but there is a reason for the Mbr movement at this time!
"TAKE THE MONEY AND RUN"! That's what all the execs and stockholders do. We might as well join them. I'm not bitter, but when you give what Humana provides any thought, you'd realize that don't do as much as they want us or members to believe. If they did, there would be an abundance of help for the elderly and not as much red tape when it's a covered service. This should be a nonprofit organization and give back to the elderly that deserve it. It's ok for one to dream! Humana only cares about the money in their own fat pockets and found a great way to mask being thieves!

Amen. Its idiotic to be calling new members and introducing yourself and building rapport one week prior to be getting laid off.
This is why their STAR ratings went down again last year. Members and providers also don’t like dealing with Humana.

Exactly, another stupid decision. Lets see is maybe the coach trying to make herself look good to say herself. This changing policy and procedure and hourly rate changes etc. Why all at same time of RIF? Cause Humana does not give a crap about our health and wellbeing no matter how many times they say they do
