DXC email not working

Pretty embarrassing that for 2 days now @dxc.com email has not been working.

Even more embarrassing is the suggestion that we ask customers to email our old @CSC.com addresses as a work around. And by the way, trust us with your digital transformation. Lol.

Trickery abounds under the management structure! Maybe email support occurs in India and they are getting the chop soon.

DXC.com email was the default for employees from day 1 of the company last April. You may still use the same old CSC/HPE mailbox, but they are using some trickery to change your outbound email so that the "from" address is your @DXC.com email address.

I presume most mailboxes are Microsoft hosted, but who knows - it's transparent to us as end users.

I haven't heard any thing official that we should be using our @dxc.com email address, but mine has been working just fine for months and still is.

Who ever reported this are you on the on premise email environment or the one hosted by Microsoft. If on premise , there which one. You don't say so its hard to know what the problem is.

Email, IT support, human resources, and payroll have all had major snafus since Lawrie decided eliminating essential staff and replacing it with part-time third world country staffers who are qualified primarily because they work for $1 an hour and they "read an article" about technology once in their lives.

It doesn't matter in the end anyways. DXC exists on big promises that Wall Street eats up. When it comes time to deliver, they fall flat on their faces. DXC was created to ultimately fail after the big wigs get their big checks and bonuses.

I suspect that as someone else said earlier on, the one (and last) person who knew how the email system was configured had been given the flick and now some offshore team that have never seen the product before are trying to fix it.

I say this with fair certainty, because its happened many, many, many times on other things.

DxC probably decommissioned all their Non-Production environments and no longer have them running. This way they can save a ton of money on maintenance expenses to their vendors.

After three, everyone send an email to themselves to create a massive, collaborative 'Denial of Service' attack!

Oh wait, you need a service first.

Test environment is a "cost".

Raise your hand if you sent yourself a test email on dxc email after reading this post. I did.

Beyond embarrassing. It's not like , they did not have enough time to prepare and test ... But for the love of God ... Test it in a test environment BEFORE you roll it into production . Technical support 101 . It's just a minor example of how majorly dysfunctional DXC is .

The only "transformation" that Lawrie wants is for his bank balance to be in the hundreds of millions instead of the tens of millions.
