What is the severance package? How long do we get to keep our insurance?
HCM-SS 6.5 years, never on PIP, exceeded metrics, never called out and excellent call audits. I’m glad I got the one time payment and now paid vacation. Good luck to all
HCMSS - almost 7 years. Most of my reviews were good, except for a few- they were dinging everyone right & left though for the most minute things.
I guess it is what it is-
I have no words of wisdom- I was half expecting this, so I was somewhat prepared. It is still a loss in many ways though.

People keep saying “no severance” in April, why do people think a severance won’t be offered in the future?
Over 5 years... HCMSS' here, veteran, good quality and good metrics got the email at 601. We will all be ok :)

I agree with qkr. They can track if you forward a personal invite.
Do not forward the email if you got one. The system will show them that you forwarded it and that is grounds for immediate termination. No 60 days. No severence.

At first I was very concerned about getting laid off. But.. I have been here a few years... and suddenly realized what the severance package would give me. I agree that going through layoffs with severance is very expensive for Humana and probably not something they will offer in the future. So I suddenly was hoping for a letter today... and making plans for the 6 months that would be covered. I am sorry for those who are leaving and were wanting to stay. My heart breaks for the financial issues this might create for some of you. But in the long run.....you may be better off than those of us who are staying.

Been here 7 months and did not get the email. Please tell me they’re still coming?!?!
My concern is this.. no email for me means I still am employed, but i also have not had the benefit of the severance package that may be offered with this reduction. When we come to the end of the road.. ( April maybe ) and there are no further reductions, just positions that are left over, and i nothing is appealing, then i am through without the severance package. Anyone else think this may be the case? God Bless us all!!
