Thread regarding Windstream Corp. layoffs

I challenge anyone in the upper management to be honest!

Why is Win having voluntary layoffs and hiring at the same time? Is the company in such a disarray that the right hand doesn’t know what the left is doing.. What is the direction? Is win selling out trying to go bankrupt, or convert to a cloud based business?. What about all the employees that have dedicated most of the lives for a career NOT A JOB. “Anyone”

The unimportant jobs are the ones that dont bring in revenue and dont push forward the new high margin products that will save the company.

How can anyone say the unimportant jobs are going away when the current leadership has NO idea what is and isn’t important... the current leadership has turned this company into a total disaster...I for one do not trust their guidance or direction...they have NO clue and it shows in the stock market...just speak to the employees and if the employees are honest they will let you know their true feelings...

A stupid question/comment with a very simple answer - some jobs are more important than other jobs. The unimportant jobs are going away, the important jobs are being hired for.

This is what you do when revenue is trending down, and you're trying to right the ship.

The person who posted misery loves company has not YET had the opportunity to sit in the hot seat.

This site is not about bashing Windstream necessarily, but mor about promoting transparency. People who have been laid off, fired, or even left voluntarily can't exactly post comments on internal boards like Stream.

Anyone offered the deal should take it. It is usually the best deal. Many have dedicated their careers to one employer for their career. Those days have long been gone.

Honesty and integrity does not exist in the upper Management at Windstream...after dedicating several years, I decided enough was enough and left this Company. They do not value their employees especially if you are female and not part of their good ole boy network. This company has changed drastically...the current regime has no idea what they are doing and it shows not only in the stock market but in their employees...the majority that are still hanging in there are only doing it for the money...therir hearts are no longer in their work performance...the company is doomed and will not succeed! Success is only achieved when you have the respect of your employees something the upper management does not comprehend! Rebranding this company will not make a difference, changing the CEO and upper management may be the only resolution and not sure if it is too late...
