Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Dare we hope?

What are the chances that the new year will bring with it new leadership for DXC? People who are knowledgeable and experienced, who actually know what they are doing, and who can get us out of the mess we have been put into? Even the slightest of chances? Asking for a friend.

"I actually think its jealously from those folks who got WFRed and wished they still worked for DXC!"

WFR my a--! it is all about inconsistent increment and promotions for the employee who've been worked hard. Don't act like you know sh--! there were even great leaders who left the company because they know DXC is gonna turned Sh--!

Just my two cents.... I think a lot of the problem is that many (most?) people here are on the tech/IT side of things. Those of us who are not on the tech/IT side of things have a much harder time getting another job. God only knows, I've been trying to find another job but it is not easy if you are not a techie. (And NO, I cannot relocate as I am taking care of my elder parents!)

If these people want to waste away at DXC let them be. No amount of advice will turn these peoples thoughts and feelings. This is why society is so screwed up.

I don't question why anyone stays at DXC, there are as many reasons as there are employees. Unlike others here, I won't characterize them all as do nothings who like to toe the line or otherwise take out my disappointment with DXC on my colleagues.

Who ever said this is a complete a$$ "DXC are petrified to actually see whats on the other side of the wall"

We stay because we make decent amount of money (no raises in years, but not poverty either), we can work from home and haven't found anything else that allows us to do that and not be on call 24 by 7.

I think most dedicated staff struggle to belief that Mike Lawrie can keep getting away with the abuses and dubious practices. ES used to be great place to work and the decine has been all too rapid aince the merger. Lawrie's incompetent unqualifies ex-PA girlfriend who heads up HR is about as competent as Trump whilst Lawrie is just "criminally" greedy!

People stay at DXC because they lack self confidence, It takes a little effort and actual work to look for another position. They like awful relationships. They like boring and unchallenging work. They like to be dictated on what, when and where to do there work. They like the unknown and no future with there employer. Finally they don't like recognition and reward. In summary people who work at DXC are petrified to actually see whats on the other side of the wall. They are frozen in time and remember all the great times from the past or they just sleep around with each other.

You are stuck with a Moron for a leader and his little minions cannot pass the minion qualifying test even at Disney World. How funny. GRU would make men and women out of these losers.

DXC - Drama Tak Cukup, in your dream that this could happen. Why don't just leave the "comfort zone" and seek for better career advancement. Not a question but a facts that you should realized and be kind to yourself.

Lawrie's personal greed knows no bounds. Plus, if he goes expect an SEC investigation when the truth abouth his abuses of power and creative accounting come to light!

Chances? Zero. This is a death-spiral and no one at this point is looking at DXC as a long-term viable entity. Well, maybe a few naive pollyanna types... but anyone with eyes can see what the real plan is. This company will not exist in 3-4 years. Time will tell how long they can milk it before selling the scraps to some Indian pure play.

Sad.
