Meg Whitman removed from DXC Board - Effective Immediately

HPE CEO Whitman departs DXC board. Washington Business Journal reports that DXC Technology announced that Hewlett Packard Enterprise CEO Meg Whitman will depart the company’s board of directors, effectively immediately. Whitman joined DXC’s board at its formation from a spin-merger of HPE’s Enterprise Services business with the Computer Sciences Corporation. HPE is entitled to elect a replacement director for approval by the DXC Nominating Committee to fill the vacancy until DXC’s annual stockholder meeting in August 2018. A new board member is expected to be named early this year.

So it is a hostile take-over, not a merger as it was initially claimed to be..... Another beautifull company geos down under the pressure of money - and employees are left to their own... We are all bleading !

"CEO Meg Whitman will depart the company’s board of directors, effectively immediately " is a PUSH for sure :) Who cares who is on board they only care about getting the most money out of the company.

What happen to providing the customer the best product / services for the best price? It's gone DXC and others are just money hungry whores.

Ding-dong the witch is dead. I have to say that was a very smart move.

The witch is leaving HPE so it was inevitable that the position she had on DXC's Board would go too.

Nothing to see here

Her place on the board was only temporary anyway, nearly always happens when a company or bit of company is spun off to form another. They only do things like that to give some appearance of continuity and diligence.

You'll notice how other than the announcement of her being there and now her departure, there wasn't another time you heard jack or sh1t from her with regard to DXC.

Must be nice to do that little and gain so much money for doing so.

That explains why she was ringing the bell on Wall Street in April. She’s ringing the bell of the CEO!! I’ve never known an HR chief to take out so much in share options too! How does this all stay under the radar of the authorities! Is it illegal to move jobs to cheaper countries and make thousands redundant? To take out huge amounts of money when your making redundancies! Surely the large shareholders can see the artificially inflated numbers have no real substance?

Anyone who expresses a different opinion to Mike (or who asks why his unqualified ex-PA girlfriend is somehow HR lead for a global corp) gets the boot. why do you think CSC got through so many L2s!

Either Meg has a new job lined up OR she was pushed.

It’s hard to know whether she was more ‘gentle’ than Lawrie, but judging by people’s comments Lawrie is far more cut throat so may pushed??
