Rumor at CBI is that Honeywell/HOP will be the buyer of CBI's Technology business group. Good fit or layoffs for many?

CBI has more practical experience than the UOP people and should have no problems leading the new company. Being based in the woodlands makes sense because this is where all the customers are. Looking forward it.
CB&I is planning to announce the sale of $2 billion technology group by this Friday, Honeywell is expected as the buyer. This will mean certain overlap between UOP and CBI technologies and consequently some job reductions to achieve “ synergies”.
Job hunt now if lucky you will get severance plus a new and better job
Do you mean UOP? They will send the work to Delhi after you train them to do your work.
